It's a way for them to get to know each other, but it is also an act of mutual grooming and establishing boundaries. Horses will also do this with humans as well if they are comfortable and curious.
It looks to be a battle to the wire between Commandment and Silent Tactic, but if you look at the infield board, there's a looming threat on the outside that they can't see yet....

Showcasing his classic late-charge running style, Renegade takes the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes with Irad Ortiz Jr aboard. The Into Mischief colt displayed his talent yet again and shut down that obnoxious patron.
