There has been a steward's inquiry. Both jockeys are now on the phone with the stewards.
With the jockeys pleading their cases to the stewards, both horses are walked in circles to cool down and to wait for the winner's circle photo. This is taking a while, however. That means something is going to happen...
"Ladies and gentlemen, there has been a disqualification." After the stewards' inquiry, Zulu Kingdom was disqualified from the race and demoted from first after making a move that caused Luther, the new winner, to be checked into the rail on the first turn. (Note trainer Chad Brown (gray jacket) and jockey Flavien Prat walking away in defeat, and of course, the faces of the people in the winners' circle. This is right when the change was announced.)
